Virtual Lunch & Learn: Useful and Active Everyday Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Tips

We will discuss: current active ally practices, how to engage in productive conversations, an overview of inclusive language and unconscious bias, and the mixed messages you may be sending to your children, family and friends.

This session will be led by Susie Silver. Susie (she/her) is an experienced and effective consultant, strategist, facilitator, and content creator. She is also an LGBTQ+ subject matter expert and Certified Diversity Executive. In addition to general DEI consulting, Susie facilitates training, listening, and discussion sessions. She also works collaboratively with clients in creating DEI goals and action plans. She has since partnered with various educational facilities, start-up businesses, and Fortune 500 companies to redefine company cultures that have allowed all people to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and heard.

Susie’s career includes eighteen years in public education and in 2015, she founded With Pride Consulting to create actionable change for the LGBTQ+ population in schools and the workplace.
