Volunteer Opportunity: The Women’s Center Lunch Drop-off & Coffee at the Little Blue Bakeshop

Let’s support fellow mamas who are needing a little extra love and kindness with a wonderful lunch for The Women’s Center. Meet us at Little Blue Bakehouse (2116-H New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC) to drop off your meal item and grab coffee with friends.

A couple moms will go to deliver food at 11:15. Please do not be late to this event as they are counting on the food to be ready to serve promptly at 11:30.

Please comment in the Facebook event with food item you’re bringing. We need to feed approximately 65 women, so please keep this in mind when looking at what others are bringing. For example, two people can bring pots of chili or trays of lasagna to make sure we have enough. We are also asked to bring utensils, plates, napkins, drinks, etc. (Lunch suggestions include: casseroles, with vegetable or salad, taco Tuesday, fried chicken and fixings, spaghetti and garlic bread, chili and corn bread or chips and salsa, bagged meals – sandwich, chips, cookie, drink…).
