Empowering Lactation

Katie is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and owner of Empowering Lactation. She helps families navigate infant feeding including breast/chestfeeding, pumping, bottles, returning to work/daycare, weaning, and everything in between. With an additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health, she focuses on developing feeding plans that are manageable for each family. Katie also has significant training and expertise in tethered oral tissues (tongue-tie and lip-tie). Katie offers home visits, telehealth and sees clients at the Birth Center of Chicago.
