Virtual Expert Workshop: Women’s Hormone Health: Making Sense of Hormones at Any Age w/Kate Layman

April 19 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for a casual, informative discussion on Women’s Hormone Health: Making Sense of Hormones at Any Age. This session breaks down the basics of hormones in an easy-to-understand way and explores how they change throughout key life stages—from menstruation to menopause. We will use accessible language and examples, no medical background required. This is a judgment-free space to learn, ask questions, and walk away with a clearer understanding of your body.
Kate Layman is a Certified Nurse Midwife and has been working in the Triangle since 2009. Her experience spans home, birth center, and hospital births. Her own difficult postpartum and perimenopause journey reshaped her current focus. Today, Kate helps women navigate the challenges of new motherhood and midlife with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance—holding space, asking the right questions, and helping them feel better, faster.
