Dr. Lindsay Mumma is a chiropractor with a special interest in rehabilitation and women’s health. She is a mother of two boys and as she prepared for her first pregnancy, she realized that even her doctorate, which allows her to care for pregnant women, didn’t fully equip her for the process of becoming a mother herself. She sought to further her education – both for herself and her patients – and realized how much support was truly needed. She discovered BIRTHFIT and their four pillars – fitness, nutrition, mindset, and connection – in her search for more information. She has since has helped to grow the BIRTHFIT movement through collaboration with others, bringing more resources and support to communities. She’s been a BIRTHFIT Leader since 2014, is an instructor for the BIRTHFIT Professional course, and teaches local BIRTHFIT classes in addition to caring for pregnant and postpartum women in her practice.
Fun facts about her: she loves lifting logs and practicing kundalini yoga, she reversed two autoimmune diagnoses, and she grew up on a pig farm.
