Anna Lutz is a Registered Dietitian with Lutz, Alexander & Associates Nutrition Therapy and specializes in eating disorders and pediatric/family nutrition. Anna practices from a Health at Every Size® approach and supports individuals in breaking free of diet culture for themselves and their families. Anna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Duke University and Master of Public Health in Nutrition from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Anna previously worked at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC where she gained experience working with children and their families around feeding dynamics, diabetes, food allergies, extreme picky eating, and other pediatric nutrition concerns. Anna most recently worked on the Eating and Body Image Concerns Treatment Team at Duke University Student Health. Anna is a national speaker and delivers workshops and presentations on childhood feeding, eating disorders, and weight-inclusive healthcare. Anna writes about nutrition, cooking, and family feeding, free of diet culture, at Sunny Side Up Nutrition. She is the mom of 3 very different eaters, ages 13, 9 and 4.
Sara is a Registered Dietitian with Lutz, Alexander & Associates Nutrition Therapy and provides nutrition therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Sara’s goal is to help her clients develop a positive relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. Sara believes in the importance of building trust and rapport with her clients, and provides a compassionate, individualized approach. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. Sara also works with families of loved ones with pediatric feeding concerns and disordered eating. Sara sees clients in Lutz and Alexander’s Raleigh and Chapel Hill locations. Sara enjoys yoga, training for a half-marathon, writing, and spending time with her husband and golden retriever, Max!
Laura specializes in nutrition therapy for adults, adolescents and children with disordered eating patterns and sees clients in Lutz, Alexander & Associates Nutrition Therapy’s Durham and RTP/Brier Creek Offices. She also enjoys collaborating with families to navigate childhood feeding issues. Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Marshall University and completed her dietetic internship with Iowa State University. She worked as a nutrition educator in elementary schools with Marshall University’s Nutrition Education Program. Most recently, she was a clinical dietitian at Veritas Collaborative, treating individuals with eating disorders. Laura promotes Health At Every Size® principles and practices a non-diet approach. She is currently completing her Intuitive Eating Counselor Certification. Laura welcomes clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Billie is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and uses a weight-neutral approach to diabetes and prediabetes nutrition and self-management that emphasizes self-compassion, skill building, and joy in eating. She also specializes in nutrition for children and families and enjoys supporting parents at all stages of feeding their kids, from pregnancy all the way through adolescence. In addition to her work at Lutz & Alexander, she works as a primary care nutritionist and diabetes educator at Advance Community Health. When she’s not working these days she can usually be found chasing her toddler around any of downtown Raleigh’s lovely playgrounds and museums. Billie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University, and earned her Masters in Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She meets with clients in Lutz, Alexander & Associates’ Raleigh office.
