Lisa Silverman

I work with people who find themselves in moments of transitions and experiencing the complex emotions that arise in those moments. I have a deep interest in women's life transitions--including experiences of fertility and infertility; pregnancy, pregnancy loss, abortion, birth, and infant loss; postpartum experiences and the adjustment to becoming a parent and parenting; leaving or re-entering the work force; and the empty nest--and I have expertise in meeting people wherever they are on the path of parenting.

I also work with people experiencing with other kinds of losses, including medical challenges.

I take deep interest and pleasure in working with gifted adults, those who feel compelled to seek intensity, complexity, and depth, even when it makes them feel odd or alone or abandoned.
