Heather is the owner of Oxytocin Perinatal Support and offers lactation support and daytime postpartum doula care in-person in the Austin, Texas area and virtually worldwide. Her lactation care includes prenatal and postpartum visits, and she supports families throughout their entire infant feeding journey from pregnancy through weaning. She also teaches classes and workshops to parents and professionals about lactation, perinatal mental health, childbirth, and other topics related to the perinatal period.

Heather has experience working with breastfeeding, pumping, and combo feeding families; NICU families; preemies and late preterm babies; multiples; neurodivergent parents (including ADHDers and Autistic parents); families inducing lactation; LGBTQIA+ families; and parents with a history of mental health concerns and/or at high risk for perinatal mental health concerns. She prides herself in her ability to collaboratively craft care plans with families to meet babies’ needs while also meeting parents’ needs in a judgment-free, compassionate manner.
