Thompson Counseling

Thompson Counseling is a group therapy practice in the Northland of the Greater Kansas City area. We have 3 licensed therapists and an intern that are all passionate about providing inclusive, trauma-informed, evidenced based care to our clients. Individually, our specialities range from perinatal mental health: TTC/fertility, miscarriage/stillbirth/infant & child loss, abortion/TFMR, pregnancy/postpartum, PMADs, pregnancy after loss, traumatic birth, NICU experience, surrogacy and intended parents; parent-child interaction therapy, autism & other neurodiversity support, parenting support for all ages and stages, teen support, DBT, grief & loss, trauma & abuse.
We offer individual & family therapy and have several support groups running throughout the week.
