I am a Family Nurse Practitioner at Essential Health located in Raleigh, NC.  Essential Health provides a precision healthcare model of care focusing on individualized, unique approaches for each patient combining conventional, functional, and integrative approaches.   Prior to Essential Health, I have worked in conventional primary care settings and have a nursing background in surgical, intensive care, postpartum, and lactation.  I am originally from West Virginia but have called Raleigh, North Carolina home since 2002. My interests in both functional and integrative approaches in medicine grew as I began to make adjustments to my family’s lifestyle and health over the last several years. I am currently a fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

In working with patients, I emphasize collaborative goal setting and building trusting and supportive relationships.
