Join us for a social distanced walk around the beautiful NCMA grounds.
Join us for a socially distanced hike at beautiful Umstead State Park and start your Saturday morning off on a note of nature, movement, and good conversation.
We will meet at the visitors center and complete Sal’s Branch Trail a 2.8 mile loop.
This will be a slow and leisurely pace and should be right around an hour. At 8am the park is relatively uncrowded and we will maintain 6ft distance at all times.
In these challenging times, we know it is more important than ever to come together and draw strength from one another.
We are all struggling with anxieties about the pandemic and overwhelmed with emotions regarding the racial inequalities and strife in our nation. We also can’t forget that we each have our own motherhood struggles we are dealing with, whether postpartum mood disorders, lack of sleep, or struggles with breastfeeding.
The Stronger Together Support Circle is not a therapy session or support group. Rather, it is a group of friends coming together to talk, listen, and support one another. We know when women come together they are stronger.
Please join us. Share your struggles. Share your thoughts. We will listen and hold a safe space for you. We will support you.
