HER Circle Members:
We hope you will join us in our November Volunteer Project making DIY Family Essential Kits w/ Activate Good.
Make this a family project and involve the kids as you follow the guidelines provided here:
Please plan to make a basket (or baskets) on your own time. You may drop your baskets off yourself once they are completed OR bring them to Lake Lynn Community Center Picnic Pavilion on Saturday the 21st to drop them off with HER Health Collective. We also invite you to stay a bit and join us for a coffee chat while you take a moment to catch up with your mom friends! ❤
Help us write out 100 voting reminder postcards to women and moms in NC that are listed as infrequent voters.
More details in Private Member Facebook Group.
August Volunteer Opportunity:
Supply Drive for our friends over at BLOOMHERE stocking up their cabinets with some much-needed supplies.
If you can, we encourage you to sneak away from all of your responsibilities in the middle of the day to join us for an afternoon lunch, we’d love to see your beautiful faces! ♥
We will meet in North Hills Midtown Park on the lawn in between the amphitheater and Chuys. Bring a lunch, grab takeout, just come to talk for a bit. We will be there for about an hour.
This is a supply drive for BLOOMHERE. Bring your donation or just have it sent directly via Amazon. Option to also bring your item to any of our other events during the month of August. We will make sure the ladies at the house receive them.
BLOOMHERE is a nonprofit organization providing women survivors of abuse, addiction, prostitution, and trafficking a safe place to live and space and resources to heal. They support the wellbeing of women so they may nurture their own resilience while providing opportunities for them to grow into a life of economic independence.
Here is the current BLOOMHERE wishlist:
Monetary donations are always welcomed by this non-profit as well.
Join us Monday afternoon to make some upcycled dog toys from old t-shirts. Second Chance Pet Adoptions is desperate for more toys.
Bring a couple of old shirts you are willing to rip up and let’s have some lunch together while supporting these little pups!
Join us for a midday picnic and some do-good vibes!
Catch up with your friends while making a couple cards for a local senior citizen center. Let’s spread some cheer while getting to see one another and catch up!
You will be asked to bring your own paper and markers. You are also encouraged to bring a blanket and your lunch!
This will be capped at 10 members and we will maintain 6 feet of distance at all times.
