Bio/Description

Sue is a former K–5 teacher and elementary school counselor with a passion for supporting children, teens, young adults, and families through life’s challenges. She specializes in working with clients ages 7–18, as well as adults, addressing concerns such as trauma, grief and loss, ADHD, academic struggles, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ topics, parenting, and family dynamics.

Sue provides an open, non-judgmental, relaxed, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences. She believes that a strong relationship with your therapist is the foundation for growth, healing, and reflection. Her warm and compassionate approach allows clients to process challenges while learning practical strategies to feel more confident, connected, and emotionally well.

Sue is also in the process of completing her Perinatal Mental Health Certification and has already completed both her core training and advanced training in Perinatal Anxiety and Mood Disorders. She is committed to supporting individuals and families through the unique challenges of the perinatal period with empathy, knowledge, and specialized care.
