My name is Marissa Howard.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of Flourish Mental Health and Flourish Together.  I am also a mom of two boys, an extrovert, a lover of the water, lifting heavy things, and embroidery.

Flourish Mental Health is a multi-disciplinary group therapy practice that is devoted to using contemporary, evidence-based practices.  We seek to make mental health care accessible by being in-network with most insurances, and never waiver from our commitment to providing the best care possible.  We hire therapists that have exceptional training and expertise.  Believing that well therapists are best able to care for their patients, my favorite part of my job is focusing on caring for and supporting our therapists.  We are all life-long learners and are a true team and meet regularly for consultation.

At Flourish Mental Health, we care deeply about helping women, moms, and parents.  We can see people for things including but not limited to: perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, fertility, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, pregnancy termination, anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, substance use disorders, adjustments to life transitions, and trauma.

Flourish Together is an education, coaching, and consulting organization designed to reduce parental stress and improve parental well-being one parent, one organization, and one community at a time.  Flourish Together shows up where parents are- at work, sports practices, in the school, and on the computer – to equip parents with science-backed strategies and practical tools that reduce parental stress and improve parental well-being – so parents can feel grounded, whole, and connected again. We want to replace pressure with possibility, loneliness with connection, and put the parent back in parenting. When parents flourish, communities thrive.
